Nick Parisi - Game Programming Portfolio

  • Nick needed a new portfolio website to showcase his indie game development projects as he searched for jobs in the gaming industry. His favorite video game is Starfox, so we designed a logo of his name in the style of the iconic Starfox logo. The rest of the website is modeled after the boxes Super Nintendo games come in. This website features a prominent custom logo and clean portfolio pages which feature each project with a JQuery screenshot slideshow.

The Midnight Workshoppe

The Midnight Workshoppe

  • This website was created for our friends who own a Steampunk craft shop. We really wanted the website to have the feeling of a real place, and designed it to resemble the shelving of an old store. The web content itself is displayed as if it were pages tacked on an old corkboard with a beautiful logo designed by one of the shop's owners. This website design features extensive graphic design including digital painting, a customized WordPress theme, and a JQuery slideshow on the front page.

Japanotes

Japanotes

  • Japanotes is a searchable database of links to sheet music, guitar tabs, and scores for Japanese music. We made a clean, fluid, three-column layout to allow for more content in the center column. This website is very content-heavy, but includes a custom illustration in the header.

The Split Banana

The Split Banana

  • This website was created for a Virginia-based ice cream and gelato shop. We worked with the logo they provided and went through many prototype designs before they decided on this simple, clean layout, focusing on the main colors of their logo.
